A Holiday Tuscany Style

Oct-23-2010 By GuestPoster

Tuscany Italy is one of the most famous parts of the world.  This are is known for its gorgeous countryside, as well as providing most of the world with its wine!  The scenery is made up of green pastures and rolling hills, covered in vineyards and olive trees.  If you want to be by the water, to the west you will find the Mediterranean sea and up North you will find the famous Italian lakes.  This why Tuscany is one of the most popular regions for Italian holidays.

The countryside isn't the only thing that makes this region so famous though.  This part of the world has some of the most famous cities and art there too.  Pisa is here, a charming tiny town known for its famous leaning tower.  There is also Siena, well known for its architectural beauty.  Florence is one of the most famous cities in the world, with its charming streets, famous bridges over the river, and of course, the giant church Il Duomo.  Milan isn't just historically famous, it continues to thrive as one of the most modern cities in the world.  Here you will find hot nightclubs and trendy bars for nightlife.  It is also one of the major fashion centers of the world.

If you are going to Tuscany on Italian holidays, you may want to consider holiday villas in Tuscany to rent.  If you find one in the middle of the region, you can stay in the gorgeous countryside, and have a relatively small commute to all the different cities.  This could end up saving you a lot of money, especially if you are with a big group.  Of course, if you are on a tight schedule, Tuscany hotels or Tuscany tours might be a better idea.

Regardless of how you decide to arrange your holiday Tuscany will prove to be one of the most memorable trips of your lifetime.

Finding Cheap Flights to Rome

Oct-22-2010 By GuestPoster

The first reply you normally receive from your friends and colleagues when you say you are going to Rome is that it is so expensive. This doesn't always have to be the case. There are things you can do if you are wise that will save you a lot of money and you will be able to enjoy it as much. It is always possible finding cheap hotels in Rome. The key to a budget friendly trip is good planning. You will have to shop around and find the best deals. It is also a  good idea to speak to people who have been to Rome before. Most people would have come back with great tips to give as to where not to waste your money and where the best deals would be for to go.

When it comes to finding cheap flights to Rome there are many. You will be surprised, but you will also have to be selective. Some people are fussy about who they fly with. At the end of the day when you are trying to save money on flights you can't be too fussed about what food you getting served and how much leg room you have in front of you. Many people spend thousands more than they should on airline travel in my opinion than they should. It is one night to your destination and you will have to grin and bear it.

There are many airlines that have now reduced their prices, especially since the recession and you can definitely get some great deals. Many of these airlines have a really good service and it is nothing to get stressed about. Italy has a good transport system and is ideal to get around by train. You could visit Venice for a few days and it will be something you won't forget in a hurry.

With all the things to do in Rome you won't get bored easily, but they do come at a price. Rome tours are not cheap either so this is when more planning has to come into play. The more you plan the more pleasant your trip will be.
